Dr. Kautz completed her doctoral training as a clinical psychologist at Temple University and her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania with the Innovation in Suicide Prevention Implementation Research (INSPIRE) Center. Her research focuses on how childhood trauma is linked to the development of mood disorders and self-injurious thoughts and behaviors among adolescents. She is also interested in the development and implementation of interventions to improve suicide prevention and trauma-focused interventions for youth.
